Super Street Sensation (LEGO #8448-1) is a good LEGO set from the Technic theme. The set is huge with tons of unique Technic components to build whatever you can image. The working gear box is fantastic on the frame base of this set. I had a blast building it and seeing how it works. The other really great part about this set is that it includes instructions to build a series of different vehicle bodies around the same chassis so you can switch it up.
